Hi I’m Jamie, I am that strange girl who goes everywhere with a camera and stops to say hi to every animal I see. Though I may forget to say hi to the owner! I have always been the camera girl since I was first given one at the age of five. I think I've been an animal person from birth.
Even though I always was taking photos I never thought of focusing on pet photos until I started volunteering at a local shelter. I took my camera in with me the first day to walk dogs and took photos of them as we played. The response to photographs of dogs and cats playing was a big hit. By capturing their personality in ways that the average shelter visitor may not get to see, it really helped their chances of adoption. This led me to really focus on animal photography... even animals that have already found their forever home. I haven't looked back since. I can’t think of anything more rewarding than helping animals and capturing the soul of your pet. My goal is to capture images of your pet just as you see them.
